Table saws are great, if you have one. Their drawbacks are usually portablility. If you are about to build a deck that will require alot of repetitive cuts, or indoor finish work, yes you need a table/miter saw. I'm doing outdoor "rough" framing carpentry where a handheld skill saw will get most jobs done. Thanks so much for reading.
